· The basic theme for the play Romeo And Juliet, is that, love in any forms is an unstoppable force.

Romeo (of the Montague family)is a heart throbbing romantic who has recently had his heart broken, until he meets Juliet (Capulet) at a party. They quickly fall in love and decide that they must be wed, so that they can both be together as well as maybe finally stop the ancient grudge that their two families have had with one another for as long as anyone can remember. However Romeo soon becomes banished from Verona, because of the murder of a Capulet Tybalt . Romeo realizing that this may be the last time that he will ever be able to see Juliet before he is banished, and so he seeks of to her home and they spend the night in each other’s arms. Juliet soon finds out that her family wishes her to marry Count Paris. She seeks out the Friar of Verona and desperately tells him while holding a knife in her hand that she would rather die than to marry Count Paris. But the Friar is quick minded and they soon come up with a plan to make it appear that Juliet has passed away, mean while Friar will write to Romeo and tell him that he can find Juliet alone in the Capulet family vault. Everything about the plan works out as anticipated except that Romeo receives the untrue news that Juliet is dead by his friend, and believes every word of it, as the letter has not been sent because of a pestilence that the mail carrier feared. Romeo arrives and finds Juliet dead in his great grief he chooses to end his life by drinking a strong poison. Moments after he has expired Juliet awakes from the potion that the friar had given her only to find her love dead on the floor next to her. She kisses him in hopes that there may still be some poison left over so that she can join him in death, however when that does not work she take Romeos blade and stabs herself deep in her chest and falls down dead to be with her Romeo for eternity.
